Health & Hope 2025 with Jagmeet Singh
The Canadian Health Coalition is excited to announce the launch of our Health & Hope 2025 campaign with NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh on Wednesday, September 14 at 12 noon ET on Zoom.
The next three years will be crucial for public health care. The Liberal-NDP Confidence and Supply Agreement, announced earlier this year, could finally give Canadians access to life-saving medicine through a national universal pharmacare program. Thousands of children and seniors could finally have access to dental care. Safe long-term care is on the table as is more support for frontline health care workers, mental health and aging-at-home.
Host Anne Lagacé Dowson will discuss with NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh the biggest health care expansion in generations, how we can stop privatization and ensure that no one goes without health care.
Jagmeet Singh has served as the leader of the New Democratic Party since 2017. The Member of Parliament for Burnaby South since 2019, he is a lawyer, activist, and author of a memoir entitled Love & Courage: My Story of Family, Resilience, and Overcoming the Unexpected.
The Canadian Health Coalition is a national voice for public health care, bringing together millions of front line workers, unions, community groups, faith communities, and researchers.
